Why Islam

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
"Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an that you might understand."
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَل لَّهُ عِوَجًا ۜ
"[All] praise is [due] to Allah, who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance."
The Quran, the holy book of the Muslims, claims to be the direct word of Allah (God) revealed in the Arabic language to an unlettered (he couldn’t read or write) Prophet. It also claims to have no errors in it. It is a big claim for sure, but it makes it easy to disprove. All the reader has to do is find one error in it, to prove that Islam itself is false. Rather having to disprove everything just disproving one thing simplifies the matter.
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ ۚ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ غَيْرِ اللَّـهِ لَوَجَدُوا فِيهِ اخْتِلَافًا كَثِيرًا
"Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction."
Why this is a powerful proof is because no person could make this claim about any book. That this book is so perfect, it has no errors in it. No history book and no science book could ever make that claim. Science is ever changing, and history is based on archaeological findings, so our current understandings of the past are likely to change in the future (and has already countless times). So if this proof stands and no error is found in the book, the most likely conclusion is that it’s sent from God, as the book itself says it is.
ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
"This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah"
